If you have a complaint about filming in your town, Jason Underwood wants to hear from you.
Underwood is the location manager for Candy Jar, an independent film production that recently set up shop in Newnan. He’s a Georgia native with more than 10 years in the thriving film industry the state now enjoys.
In his role, he’s an ambassador for the production. Prior to any filming project, Underwood spends hours meeting with city officials, residents and business owners to discuss the possible impact the filming may have.
“When a need is uncovered, I want them to let us know so we can help find a resolution,” he said. “I want them to have a direct line of communication.”
