Ian Schumacher is making another big push for local musicians.
The Atlanta-based producer, promoter and musician will host the second edition of “Ian Schumacher Presents: Showcase Atlanta” May 24 at 8 p.m. at The Cotton Club at the Tabernacle in downtown Atlanta with performances from Jacob and the Good People, Dreambrother, Unbreakable Bloodline and Mayhayley’s Grave featuring Captain & Maybelle’s Bonafide Sideshow. The Cotton Club is in the basement of the Tabernacle.
Schumacher partnered with Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Live Nation Entertainment Inc. to host the monthly showcase, which debuted with Kick The Robot, Voodoo Visionary, the Alex Guthrie Band and Truett.
