What Makes the Atlanta Women’s Film Festival Unique
The Atlanta Women’s Film Festival is grassroots with inclusivity and a touch of “Southern Hospitality” and dedicated to celebrating women in film intimately. This year’s festival will be held at 7 Stages Theatre in Little 5 Points, with an emphasis on showcasing female diverse voices and perspectives. Each year, AWFF brings together filmmakers, audiences, and industry professionals for screenings, panels, and networking events in the heart of Atlanta’s arts community. This year’s line up will not disappoint attendees.
“What I love about our festival is the intimacy of a setting where guests can actually meet the filmmakers,” says Caroline King, Founder and CEO of Cinema Life. “We will offer ‘Southern Hospitality’ that the South is known for. Through the Atlanta Women’s Film Festival, we’re amplifying women’s voices not only from Georgia but Internationally as well! This year we will give emerging and established filmmakers at the historical 7 Stages Theatre we want all to feel welcomed and to be celebrated in front of Georgia’s passionate film audiences.”
