Amazon Executive Spotlights Georgia’s Growing Appeal for Content Production

0

Georgia’s film and entertainment industry is catching the eye of major companies as a serious alternative to traditional production hubs, with Amazon’s Brand Innovation Lab making the case for the state’s growing capabilities.

Joseph Delhommer, US Executive Creative Director for Amazon’s Brand Innovation Lab, said that as Amazon diversifies beyond e-commerce into entertainment and media content, the company has been discovering Georgia’s advantages for brand production. His team produces video content, podcasts, and digital experiences designed to connect with audiences in new ways.

Many brands still don’t realize what Georgia has to offer, Delhommer said. The state provides financial incentives while delivering access to world-class talent on par with established markets like Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Mexico City. That combination makes Georgia attractive for producing everything from influencer content to gaming projects and serialized programming.

Delhommer sees Georgia as a way to keep production stateside rather than sending it overseas, positioning the state as a comprehensive production destination that can compete with international alternatives.
