The Entertainment Tourism Alliance of Georgia (ETAG) and Georgia Entertainment hosted the Entertainment Tourism Summit on Nov. 12 at Brookhaven City Centre, bringing together entertainment travel planners, production professionals, tourism leaders and service providers to explore the intersection of Georgia’s creative industries and tourism sector.

Erin Greer, principal and global technology practice area leader at Gensler, delivered the keynote address for the summit, which featured two panel discussions examining Georgia’s entertainment tourism potential and production-community collaboration strategies.
The first panel, “The Untapped Potential for Georgia,” was moderated by Lynda Smith, founder and chair of ETAG, and featured Todd Harris of Resurgens Gaming, Hannah Thompson of Hawkins HQs & Stranger Tours, Anthony Shorter of Music & Media and Ken Malcolm of the City of Covington.
Jezlan Moyet, president of Georgia Entertainment, moderated the second panel, which brought together production professionals to discuss fostering partnerships between filming projects and host communities. Panelists included Jackson Giles, locations manager and travel coordinator, Jen Farris, location scout, Brad Smith, location manager and Valerie Alexander, indie filmmaker.
The event was presented by Explore Brookhaven, the official destination marketing organization for the City of Brookhaven, alongside partners Classic Tents, Double A Productions, Hall Booth Smith, Trilith Studios, Georgia Matters and Fulton Films.
