Sundance is the perfect opportunity to highlight the state’s unique offerings and to build lasting, meaningful connections that will see us through the changes occurring in the industry and turn them into opportunities.”

Thousands of entertainment professionals have attended Georgia Entertainment’s “From Script to Screen” events spanning two continents, three countries and dozens of activations.

“Throughout the year, filmmakers, studio partners, creative executives and emerging talent have joined us to explore how Georgia’s production infrastructure, incentives and professional services continue to strengthen a truly coast-to-coast network,” said Jezlan Moyet, president of Georgia Entertainment. “Our team builds upon this brand awareness to invite the most qualified producers and directors to engage with us at our invite-only events.”

The Sundance Film Festival is the largest independent film festival in the United States, bringing together the world’s leading filmmakers.

“Georgia’s commitment to championing independent storytellers creates an opportunity to amplify their voices on a global scale,” Moyet said. “I’m a firm believer in the transformative potential of narratives fueled by genuine, individual voices.”

Georgia Entertainment’s slate of events starts with a “Made in Georgia” panel discussion followed by an invite-only VIP Celebration of Cinema cocktail social on Friday, Jan. 23. Additional activations will follow, including the ‘Lights, Camera, America’ activation with partners FilmUSA and Monarch on Jan. 24.
