For Teacup Season 2, we initially explored filming locations outside of Georgia. Our early plans leaned toward other regions, but ultimately Georgia stood out — not only for its natural beauty, but for the depth of resources and talent available throughout the state. The landscapes alone offered everything we needed to breathe life into the story, providing cinematic backdrops that would be difficult to replicate elsewhere.
Production can often come with challenges, even so, I can confidently say there’s nowhere else I’d rather film. Georgia’s stunt community, technical crews, production teams, and on-set professionals are truly unmatched. Their work ethic, creativity, and ability to solve problems quickly elevated our entire production. We walked away incredibly grateful that we chose Georgia as our home base for filming.
In the beginning, we assumed that moving away from Los Angeles might mean sacrificing a level of “Hollywood professionalism” we were accustomed to. Instead, we were blown away by the skill, polish, and industry knowledge present here. Atlanta has matured into a major production hub — a true “new Hollywood” — and the professionalism we experienced exceeded expectations in every way.
Our experience filming in Georgia was overwhelmingly positive. The support, the talent, the community, and the environment all came together to create a production season we are incredibly proud of. Georgia didn’t just meet our expectations; it surpassed them.
