In response to news that Rep. Jerrold Nadler will serve as the interim Ranking Democratic Leader of the House Judiciary Committee, Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Chairman and CEO Cary Sherman issued the following comment:
“We look forward to working with Congressman Jerry Nadler and his expert staff as interim Ranking Democratic Member of the House Judiciary Committee. As next in seniority and in his role as Subcommittee Chair and Ranking Member, Congressman Nadler has shown himself to be effective, fair, and deeply informed about all aspects of the committee’s work, and able to work across the aisle to forge consensus. The committee leadership is in good hands.”
