Coordinating travel for film and television production is a job filled with endless responsibilities—which suits Kalynn Dakin (Littleton) just right. The seasoned travel coordinator loves keeping busy and working as part of the crew.

Dakin began her film industry career in 2017, last year she worked as travel coordinator on eight episodes of series “The Bondsman” with Kevin Bacon [Amazon Prime Video, 2025]. And this year she worked on comedy film “Rolling Loud” with Owen Wilson, which is now in post-production.

We caught up with her to learn exactly what her role entails and why she’s drawn to such a demanding, everchanging industry.

Give us the highlights of a travel coordinator’s job.

Kalynn: We’re on a show from prep, filming, and wrap, and we handle all of the travel for the cast, crew, producers, studio executives, and anyone else on the production who may need it.

We handle the hotels, flights, rental cars, and if somebody’s here for long-term, we’re handling long-term arrangements, like fully furnished housing. If we’re shooting in locations that [require]hotels for the crew, we’re handling all of that, as well.
