SeriesFest Pitch-A-Thon! Roadshow Comes to Atlanta in Partnership with Trilith Institute

Trilith Institute, the educational and workforce development non-profit based at Trilith Studios, has partnered with SeriesFest to present the Pitch-A-Thon! Roadshow as part of the annual State of the Industry Summit. The live competition will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, GA.

The Pitch-A-Thon! Roadshow showcases the art of the pitch, giving selected creators five minutes to present their original series concepts live on stage. Each presentation will be followed by real-time feedback from an expert panel of entertainment leaders. Finalists will also receive personalized pitch coaching ahead of the event to sharpen their presentations and maximize this high-exposure opportunity.

Featured panelists include:

Jeffrey Stepakoff (President & CEO, Trilith Institute)
With a career spanning four decades in Hollywood studios, bestselling novels, digital storytelling, and educational innovation, Stepakoff has established himself as a rare creative force who has shaped multiple industries.

Richard Suckle (Producer, “Wonder Woman” and “American Hustle”)
A Golden Globe-winning and Academy Award-nominated producer, Suckle has amassed a worldwide box office of more than $2 billion. His credits include “Wonder Woman,” “Suicide Squad,” the live-action “Scooby-Doo” films, and the 10-time Academy Award-nominated “American Hustle.” His latest project, “Vicious,” starring Dakota Fanning, will be released by Paramount Pictures on October 10, 2025.

Adamma Ebo (Writer, Director) & Adanne Ebo (Writer, Producer)
The American-Nigerian filmmaking duo are known for their feature film HONK FOR JESUS. SAVE YOUR SOUL, which premiered at Sundance in 2022 and was acquired by Focus Features and Monkeypaw for theatrical release. Their television credits include Amazon’s Emmy-nominated MR & MRS SMITH and BATMAN: CAPED CRUSADER. They currently hold an overall deal with Sony Pictures Television.

In addition to participating in the live event, the three finalists will be invited to a private meeting with film and television professionals at Trilith Institute and considered for the prestigious Emerging Creative Residency (ECR) program. Designed to equip aspiring writers and directors with tools, mentorship, and funding, the ECR program provides housing at the Town at Trilith, $100,000 in production financing, and hands-on access to world-class resources at Trilith Institute.

To be eligible for ECR consideration, Pitch-A-Thon! applicants must be Georgia-based filmmakers with projects intended to be filmed in Georgia. The program underscores Trilith Institute’s commitment to cultivating a sustainable, fully realized entertainment ecosystem in the state.
