Reel Friends Presents As You Wish: A Live Charity Table Read of “The Princess Bride” (1987)
Atlanta Film Collective Puts on Charity Table Read of Award-Winning Film Performed by Atlanta’s Best Actors.
On Sunday, February 22nd, at the Avon Theater in Avondale Estates, Atlanta’s hottest new film collective Reel Friends presents a one night only live charity reading of The Princess Bride (1987) accompanied on stage by renowned actors and performers.
Performed on stage in front of an audience by Atlanta’s best talent, the table read will include: Austin Freeman (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Dopesick), Jenna Kanell (Terrifier, Renfield, Bad Boys: Ride or Die), Zamani Wilder (Bottoms), Annie Jacob (He’s All That), Jeffrey Pierce (The Last of Us, Castle Rock, Call of Duty), Ethan Embry (Empire Records, Can’t Hardly Wait), Baron Vaughn (Grace and Frankie, Mystery Science Theatre 3000, Black Dynamite), Kevin Daniels (Will Trent, Frasier, Modern Family), Neal Reddy (Queer Eye), Samantha Ireland (RWBY, Twisters), Aaron G. Hale (The Bradshaw Bunch).
The night will bring a celebration of true love and a swashbuckling adventure with William Goldman’s iconic screenplay directed by Rob Reiner. This special event benefits and is presented in partnership with Georgia Harm Reduction Coalition, Back Street Rising, and Food4Life — with a portion of all ticket sales directly supporting GHRC’s vital community work. It’s a gathering of film lovers, and a chance to support organizations working on the front lines of harm reduction and food access in Atlanta.
