Athens Jewish Film Festival to celebrate 10th anniversary

0

Saturday, March 24 marks the beginning of the 10th annual Athens Jewish Film Festival. The film festival will begin on Saturday and last through Wednesday, March 28.

Ron Zell, the President of the AJFF, said the film festival started in Athens in 2008 after a few members of the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival tried to get it to branch out.

“The members took it upon themselves to gather people in their community,” Zell said. “And it’s grown throughout the years.”
