Heritage Green, a four-acre park in the heart of Sandy Springs, will be the setting for Rhythm & Brews, described as “a celebration of local bands and local beers,” on Saturday, April 7th.
What started as a happy hour concert series in 2013 transformed in 2016 into a one-day community shindig. This year’s lineup features a small but diverse sampling of metro Atlanta-based musical groups: classic rockers The Howling Tongues (pictured), high-energy bluegrass/Americana duo Battlefield Collective, party-pop trio Wet Jeans and swamp rock sisters Beau + Luci.
Craft beers from an assortment of area brewers, including Jekyll Brewing, Pontoon Brewing and Reformation Brewery, will be available for purchase, as will food from Big Pat’s BBQ, Gekko Sushi and others. Admission includes two complimentary brews for attendees who are 21 or older. For advance tickets and more information, check https://heritagesandysprings.org/.
