SCAD Savannah Film Festival

The SCAD Savannah Film Festival is an annual, university-run film festival hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia. Launched in 1997 by SCAD president Paula Wallace, it is recognized as one of the largest university-hosted film festivals globally and a stop on the Academy Awards circuit. Each October, the festival screens narrative features, documentaries, and shorts, often featuring world and U.S. premieres, and provides networking and educational opportunities.
