Georgia-filmed Life of the Party, which premieres in theaters on Friday, May 11 generated more than $15 million in local economic activity.

Life of the Party tells the story of a newly and cruelly divorced mom (Melissa McCarthy) who goes back to college to finish her degree. Unfortunately, she winds up at the same school as her less-than-thrilled daughter.
