Charles Bowen, of Savannah, recently made a presentation to the Rotary Club of Jekyll Island on the status of the film industry in Coastal Georgia.
Bowen, an entertainment attorney, operates Southern Gateway Production Services in Savannah, a law firm that specializes in helping film companies navigate the local economy.
Bowen told the club that due to attractive state and local tax incentives, Georgia has become the leading location for film production in the United States, exceeding Los Angeles and New York.
