A sequel to Stephen King’s ‘The Shining’ is getting the movie treatment in Georgia. And you – and your car – could end up on screen alongside stars Ewan McGregor and Rebecca Ferguson.
According to casting agency Tammy Smith Casting, extras are needed for filming ‘Doctor Sleep’ on Monday, Sept. 24 in St. Marys. The pay rate is $72 for the day, with overtime available after 8 hours. They are also looking for period cars from the 1970s to 1980. If your car is chosen, that’s another $175 in pay. The typical film day lasts 10-12 hours.
Extras are needed for a scene set in 1980 and will be sitting or walking by the lead characters during a conversation.
