If you live in Barrow County, you will soon see more hustle and bustle than usual on the front lawn of the county’s historic courthouse.
Film crews will be arriving March 6 through 8 to start setting up for the HBO series ‘The Outsider’ to be filmed in Georgia next week.
The courthouse name will temporarily be changed to the Cherokee County Courthouse.
As with most filming projects, this means there will be road closures. Those are scheduled for March 11 through 13 while filming is taking place. The map above shows those closures.
Access to the courthouse will still be available. If you need to go to the tax assessor or tax commissioner’s offices you will need to access those offices through the parking lot off of Woodlawn.
