The 2019 Georgia Film Festival on the University of North Georgia campus in Gainesville features more than 60 short films, including two produced by people with Athens connections.

Pamela Perrine, an actress and director who lives in Watkinsville, had her film “Angels in Rocket Field” accepted for the festival.

UNG graduates Joy Holmes, who works as a multi-media specialist for radio station WDUN in Gainesville, and Marina Monteiro, a freelance editor for the Weather Channel in Atlanta and resident of Athens, will present their film “A Georgia Climate Story.” See more at Online Athens.
