SSU Indie Film Fest will be holding their 5th annual film festival April 16 – 18 on the campus of Savannah State University (SSU) campus and downtown Savannah’s Beach Institute. All events are free and open to the public including the celebration’s anticipated awards finale.
The film’s title character, one of DC comics b-list heroes, is a fourteen-year-old boy (Asher Angel) who is given superpowers and turned into a 38-year-old man (Zachary Levi) by a wizard looking forward to retirement, voiced by Djimon Hounsou.

Uni-Fest is an annual film festival for students in Georgia to show their film-making skills, receive feedback on their films and network with professionals.
This modern version follows more or less the same storyline as the old one, with the titular big eared flying elephant striving for acceptance and trying to gain his freedom from an exploitative circus owner, played this time by Danny DeVito.
