The American Youth Film Festival will partner with schools, colleges and entertainment organizations around the state to conduct American Youth In Film entertainment career workshops and provide a pathway for students interested in launching their careers as filmmakers, actors, directors, cinematographers, storytellers and creatives.
Story Data is exclusively hosting entrants for the second screenwriting competition held by Get Connected Atlanta and Final Touch Production’s 10K Film Production Grant 2019. Submissions are currently being accepted thru April 25, 2019.

The three-day event will host speakers, panel discussions, demos, workshops and elite networking experiences with leading financiers from around the country. The event is open to children ages 10 – 14. Students will be introduced to media literacy concepts. Afterwards, students will work together on production teams and produce a Public Service Announcement (PSA) promoting reading and the library.

A new production studio, Blackhouse Studios, located in East Point, Georgia is slated to open this summer. The building, which was purchased in November 2018 by the first African-American owned crowdfund, the Tulsa Real Estate Fund (TREF), is currently undergoing renovations.
