In this 8-week online course taught by Madison Hatfield, you’ll learn the fundamentals of writing comedy scenes, explore idea generation, and work to develop good writing discipline and habits. You will learn scene structure and editing techniques as well as explore writing in proper script formatting.

Eclipse Creative announces the launch of its latest creation, “Homegrown,” on Magnolia Network and Discovery+. Executive produced by Jennifer Mador and Showrunner Nicole Chiulli, Homegrown follows Jamila Norman, an Atlanta-based farmer, as she helps families transform their ordinary, urban backyards into working farms.
David Paterson, partner at Arcady Bay Entertainment, said the new studio will be the first one in the city built specifically for film and TV production. The Savannah College of Art and Design operates three sound stages in a converted meat-packing plant, and recently announced plans to expand the facility.
