The work they do helps shape the characters, gives the audience context for the story, grounds the actors, and transports us to magical places by taking the words on the page and translating them into real-life physical items and spaces.

Iceland’s film commission on Thursday announced it’s increasing tax breaks to movies and television projects that shoot in the country from 25 percent to 35 percent, launching it into the upper tier of international filming locations when it comes to incentives.

The School of Film, Media & Theatre capped off the year with its annual showcase, the Georgia State University Student Film Festival (GSUSFF). The festival celebrates student films written, produced and directed by current film and media majors and M.A. production students of the 2021-2022 academic year.
