Our Innovation Economy Runs Through Georgia’s Chambers

Across Georgia, chambers of commerce play an important role in keeping those two forces connected. They convene business leaders, host conversations with policymakers and provide a structured way for companies to engage in the civic and economic direction of their communities.

GFA at the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference

Nearly 10,000 High School Students converged on the Georgia World Congress Center for competitions in Career Fields spanning cosmetology, construction, welding, and film. GFA and Chapman/Leonard were on-site with hands-on experiences covering Camera, Lighting, Broadcast, and Art Department.

GFA x RE:IMAGINE: 350+ HS Students Get Hands-On at GFA Assembly Hub

Starting in Fall 2025 and continuing into early Spring 2026, GFA partnered with RE:IMAGINE to host a series of hands‑on “Mock‑Set” workshops for more than 350 AVTF students from DeKalb and Gwinnett counties. Students visited the GFA Assembly Studios Hub to rotate through immersive stations focused on cinematography, lighting, production sound, set photography, and screenwriting as they built skills and confidence ahead of their county film festivals.
