In his new role, Bensussen will help enhance member service and organizational efficiency by overseeing key initiatives and helping teams work together for maximum effectiveness, in collaboration with SAG-AFTRA’s executive leadership and senior management teams. He will also serve as senior counsel for specialized matters.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that participants in the New York State Film Production and Post-Production Tax Credit Programs will see a “small reduction” in their tax credit, with the extra money going to a fund for job training and workforce development in the entertainment industry.

Film crews are once again setting up shop in the Chattahoochee Valley for a new feature film. “Electric Jesus” will be shot in Columbus and the movie’s director wants to get the community involved.

Now the actor Robert De Niro is jumping on board. A group of investors, including Mr. De Niro and his son, Raphael, are buying a five-acre parcel in Astoria, Queens, with plans to build a sprawling production and film studio.
