A Georgia Southern professor and filmmaker will have two of his short films shown at the 2018 New Orleans Film Festival.

“Small Group: The Movie,” a film created to offer a fresh look at faith-based cinema, will hit local screens on Friday, Oct. 19. Matt Chastain is the writer, director and actor behind the film.

Headlining the Saturday musical lineup will be Hip-Hop artist MICK JENKINS as well as Atlanta-based Producer/Rapper LONDON ON DA TRACK — both will perform on the main stage Saturday, November 17. EDM sensations SLUSHII, KILL THE NOISE and RIOT will perform on the main stage Friday, November 16.
