Savannah Book Festival Headliner Addresses are ticketed events in the Lucas Theater in Downtown Savannah, highlighting three nationally recognized authors from across the country. Headliners will give a 45-minute presentation on their creative process and life as writers, followed by a Q&A and book signing. The 2025 Festival lineup consists of Anna Quindlen for the Opening Address, Sebastian Junger for the Keynote Address, and Ben Mezrich for the Closing Address.

Anna Quindlen is the author of many bestselling books including the #1 New York Times bestselling novel Rise and Shine, the #1 bestselling memoir Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake, and A Short Guide to a Happy Life. Her novels include Blessings, One True Thing, the Oprah Book Club Selection Black and Blue, Still Life with Bread Crumbs, Miller’s Valley, and Alternate Side. She will be speaking about her newest book After Annie, a book about hope and the unexpected power of adversity to change us in profound and indelible ways.

Sebastian Junger is the New York Times bestselling author of Tribe, War, Freedom, A Death in Belmont, Fire, and The Perfect Storm, and co-director of the documentary film Restrepo, which was nominated for an Academy Award. He is also the winner of a Peabody Award and the National Magazine Award for Reporting. He will be presenting his newest book In My Time of Dying, the story of his near-death experience. Part medical drama, part searing autobiography, and part rational inquiry into the ultimate unknowable mystery.

Ben Mezrich is the New York Times bestselling author of The Accidental Billionaires (adapted by Aaron Sorkin into the David Fincher film The Social Network), Bringing Down the House (adapted into the #1 box office hit film 21), The Antisocial Network, and many other bestselling books. His books have sold over six million copies worldwide. He will be speaking about his new book Mistress and the Key, a gripping thriller that explores the mysterious fictional connection between Benjamin Franklin and Paul Revere, and a secret cabal of alchemists.
