SCAD School of Film and Acting Presents: ‘The Drowsy Chaperone’

May 22-25 | Lucas Theatre for the Arts, Savannah, GA

Set in the roaring 1920s, The Drowsy Chaperone is a musical-within-a-musical that will have you laughing out loud. The show is narrated from the perspective of a lonely theater connoisseur, known only as “Man in Chair,” who rediscovers the soundtrack to a long-forgotten Broadway production (can you guess the show’s name?) and decides to play the lost record. As it spins, the musical bursts to life right there in his apartment. Filled with a vibrant plot, delightful musical numbers, and thrills and surprises, you won’t want to miss The Drowsy Chaperone! Presented by the SCAD School of Film and Acting, The Drowsy Chaperone was written by Bob Martin and Don McKellar.

Tickets are $5 for SCAD Card holders; $15 for students, military, and seniors; and $20 for the public. The Thursday, May 22, performance is free with a valid SCAD Card.
