We had to do some scouting, and I ended up finding these locations that perfectly suited the story. I hit the jackpot with my crew. The crews in Atlanta were the most lovely, skilled, joyful people.

The Savannah Film Alliance hosted a well-attended gathering this week at Savannah Technical College, bringing together creatives, producers, festival organizers and industry leaders from Atlanta and all along the Georgia coast.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), the world’s largest nonprofit HIV/AIDS healthcare organization, hosts the event which raises more than $1 million each year for 12 metro-Atlanta-based HIV/AIDS service organizations. The day will start with a 5K walk/run and culminate with a music festival featuring a performance by CeeLo. Past AIDS Walk Atlanta artists have included Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Monica, Sevyn Streeter, Ashanti, Wale, and Trina.
Filmmaker Jason Winn has also directed award-winning documentaries, such as “Spiral Bound,” earning praise for his ability to draw powerful performances and craft cerebral, yet entertaining stories. When not directing, he mentors aspiring filmmakers at the University of North Georgia and through the Film Connection in Los Angeles.
Hosted at The Loft, the evening featured panel discussions, a fireside chat and an after-party, drawing creatives and community leaders from across the region.
