GACTE Panel: Trends in Education and Opportunities for Georgians in Film and Entertainment

The Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education (GACTE), the Georgia Department of Education, Explore Gwinnett and the Media Education Foundation of Georgia (MEFGA) presented an industry panel for high school Audio Video Technology and Film (AVTF) instructors from throughout the state of Georgia. The event was part of the Annual GACTE conference being held at Gas South Convention Center. 

Blumhouse Reveals Multiple Games At Once

Blumhouse, the film production company behind Five Nights at Freddy’s, M3GAN, and Imaginary, just announced a bunch of games as part of its new initiative to break into the medium, with Fear the Spotlight, a classic PS2-style horror, coming later this year.

James Franco and Tommy Lee Jones looking to Columbus for next film

As Deadline reported last month, James Franco and Oscar winner Tommy Lee Jones are leading the action thriller The Razor’s Edge from producer Corey Large and filmmaker Demian Lichtenstein. This week at the quarterly Columbus Film Office meeting, Co-producer Alexander Kane said the film will be shooting in Columbus, Georgia.
