Annual Georgia Film Festival turns to digital venue

Scheduled for Oct. 2-3, the annual festival transitioned to a virtual event because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The University of North Georgia’s (UNG) Department of Communication, Media and Journalism will host the event, which previously was held in-person on the Gainesville Campus.

Gov. Kemp Reports 10,000+ Jobs Created During First Quarter of Fiscal Year

Governor Brian P. Kemp, in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), announced that more than 10,000 jobs were created across all regions of the state by economic development projects in Georgia during the first quarter of fiscal year 2021, generating more than $3.71 billion in new investments.
