Skillshot Media announced Esports Summit 2019, a business-focused esports conference that will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center November 14 – 15, in the days leading up to the international gaming festival Dreamhack Atlanta 2019.
Crowd estimates at the festival in Byron range from 150,000 to 600,000 people. There were limited bathrooms, no showers, and it was hot. Temperatures surpassed 100 degrees. “My friend came from McRae with a truck full of watermelons and he made a killing,” Russell said.
