All of the locations in the film were shot in east Alabama, Columbus, or the Chattahooche Valley, including prominent locations such as the Chattahoochee RiverWalk and the Columbus “Rainbow Tunnel”. The film also received the top prize for the inaugural Columbus Film Fund Local Filmmakers Grant, and Rowe stated the team was “over the moon with it.”
The event will feature a luncheon, panel discussions, VIP experiences and networking opportunities, with additional programming to be announced. The summit is designed for entertainment travel planners, production professionals, tourism leaders and service providers supporting Georgia’s creative industries.
Heading into its third year in 2026, the flagship program provides Georgia-based filmmakers with housing in the Town at Trilith, $100,000 in production funding, a living stipend, mentorship, and access to world-class industry resources, supporting selected indie writers and directors from development through production and distribution.
