Production is beginning this month on two new movies. One of them is being filmed in Augusta and the other in a small town you might not expect.
“That’s Miss Jane’s right there,” said Steverson Young.
On a Sunday afternoon when Miss Jane’s closes, the town of less than 2,000 people usually becomes quiet.
“It’s like a ghost town,” said Young.
But maybe not for long. Augusta’s Film Office announced a new movie is being produced not just in Augusta, but also in Warrenton, a town more than 200 years old with unique infrastructure that makes it the ideal location for a movie set.
