IGNITE! fire + ice has been created as a premiere, invitation-only event serving Georgia’s film industry. We believe 2017 is the year that the industry will come together to learn, grow, network and collaborate.
The mission is to evolve from a location state into a creative hub with Georgians at the helm. As of 2016, the economic impact the entertainment in Georgia topped over $7 billion according to the Governor’s Office.
Years ago, industry leaders began gathering to discuss the State of the Industry in Georgia and how we can keep more dollars local. Through the growth of local projects, the promotion of high-value productions progressive collaboration with industry leadership, IGNITE! Fire + Ice is the evolution of that theme.
At this moment, Georgia is the hottest market for media production in the world. Best of all are the people that make it happen everyday. This event is offered by Matchbook Media Group and Georgia Film News in collaboration with top film professionals and executives.
The first event will be Tuesday, January 31st from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Speakers include:
