Columbus State University expanding film program

0

The film production program offered by the Department of Communications and certified by the Georgia Film Academy is poised for expansion and a business stands ready to offer a helping hand.

W.C. Bradley is in talks with the university to provide the space for a sound stage which would house the new classroom facilities for Columbus State students enrolled in the film production program.

That program is currently taught in limited classroom space on the university’s uptown campus.

The site of the proposed sound stage is a warehouse owned by W.C. Bradley on Jamesson Road which was formerly home to Kyser-Warren. The warehouse sits on 80 acres of property and includes $180,000 square feet under roof.
