Shooting in Augusta for Eastwood film finished

0

Clint Eastwood and his production team have wrapped up filming in Augusta.

When “The Mule” comes out in 2019, residents can keep a look out for familiar scenes, though some locations might look a little different. First Community Bank in downtown Augusta was transformed into “Illinois Mutual Credit Union,” and the sign outside Shaw’s Sunshine Gardens, which has a significant role as the business of the movie’s main character, read “Sunnyside Meadows Flower Farm,” with a foreclosed sign underneath.

Production crews were set up in Harrisburg on Monday at Fenwick Street between Eve Street and Battle Row, and at Metcalf Street between Watkins and Starnes streets. On Tuesday, crews filled the parking lot of Lumpkin Road Baptist Church with trucks and equipment and filmed at Shaw’s.
