Looking for something to do this weekend? Stop by a comics convention that celebrates African-American artists and filmmakers.
The 10th annual Onyxcon will be held in Atlanta at the Fulton County Southwest Arts Center on Saturday and Sunday. An opening ceremony, including an art exhibition and film festival, will be held Friday.
The opening ceremony is free to the public, says Onyxcon founding president Joseph Wheeler. General admission for the rest of the convention is $15 for adults and $8 for kids 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
