Hugh Jackman and director Jason Reitman brought what they called an “American political movie made by an Australian and a Canadian” back to the site of its filming Sunday night during the SCAD Savannah Film Festival.
“It’s like walking around a film set,” Reitman said of the city. “It’s kind of fairy tale and mythical, and I was thrilled to shoot here.”
Both were returning to the Hostess City after filming “The Front Runner” in Savannah and Tybee around this time last year. The festival premiered the film ahead of its wide release and honored Jackman with the Legend of Cinema Award.
