Deputy Kyle Dinkheller was brutally murdered in rural Georgia 20 years ago.
Since his murder, the dash cam video has become one of the most infamous police dash cam videos ever captured.
On Friday night, the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office hosted a screening of ‘Dinkheller’ with the film’s director Patrick Shaver.
Kyle Dinkheller was a deputy in Laurens County roughly 20 years ago.
He was shot and killed after pulling over an army veteran on a back road near Dublin, Georgia.
The entire incident was videotaped by a camera in Deputy Kyle Dinkheller’s patrol car.
In 2017, after watching the dash cam video, former Atlanta Police Officer Patrick Shaver began writing a documentary to capture who Kyle Dinkheller was as a person.
