Chattahoochee Hills approves 1,600-acre film studio

Officials in Chattahoochee Hills have approved a 1,600-acre film project called Kane Studio, which could bring more than 1 million square feet of sound stages to the rural community.

The City Council on Tuesday voted 3-2 to approve necessary zoning changes for the roughly $700 million project. It would rise along the Chattahoochee River, about 30 miles south of Atlanta and near planned community Serenbe. See more here.
