Alexander White Agency is proud to announce that four of its Georgia-based actors have projects premiering at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this year. The films showcasing these talented artists are among the most anticipated projects of the festival, which runs from September 4-14.

The selected clients and their projects are:

  • Robert Walker-Branchaud in the road-trip comedy Driver’s Ed, directed by Bobby Farrelly (There’s Something About Mary). The film, which has its World Premiere at the festival, follows a high school senior on a spontaneous journey to save his relationship.
  • Megan Lawless in the supernatural horror film Obsession, a feature debut from writer-director Curry Barker. The film, also a World Premiere, explores a romantic obsession that takes a sinister, enchanted turn.
  • Nicholas Cirillo in the special presentation film Charlie Harper, a charming love story about a complicated relationship that unfolds in a non-linear way. The film is the World Premiere for first-time filmmakers Mac Eldridge and Tom Dean.
  • Valynn Hall in the highly anticipated biographical sports drama Christy, which chronicles the life of trailblazing boxer Christy Martin. The film, a World Premiere, is directed by David Michôd (Animal Kingdom) and stars Sydney Sweeney in the title role.

“We are incredibly proud to see our Atlanta-based talent featured on such a prominent global stage,” said Alexander White, president of Alexander White Agency. “The inclusion of these four projects at TIFF is a testament to the thriving creative community in Georgia and the extraordinary work our clients are doing, and we can’t wait for the world to see their performances.”

TIFF is widely regarded as one of the most important film festivals in the world, serving as a key launchpad for independent and international cinema.
