During the week of Sept. 15-21, “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” saw a 670% increase in streaming compared to the week before. “Superman: The Movie” jumped by 155%, “Superman Returns” jumped by 120% and “Man of Steel” jumped 40% during the same window.

The Atlanta Opera plans to release 18 new filmed operas on its streaming platform. The 18 opera films include “Madama Butterfly,” “Don Giovanni,” “The Barber of Seville,” “Bluebeard’s Castle,” La bohème,” and the first three operas of Richard Wagner’s “Ring Cycle” – “Das Rheingold,” “Die Walküre,” and “Siegfried.”
