Animation Summit, a property of Ghost Gaming and produced by Skillshot Media, will debut on Thursday, May 23, 2024 to promote professional development and celebrate the growing animation industry in Georgia.

The Animation Summit will be hosted at Skillshot Media at Uptown Atlanta, in partnership with the all-ages Geek Culture Convention MomoCon beginning the following day at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Georgia Entertainment held their Signature Georgia Entertainment 100 on April 22nd at Eagle Rock Studios. The event was presented in partnership by Explore Gwinnett and Gateway85 CID. The special invite only affair drew over 500 of the who’s who in entertainment including directors, producers, legislators, financiers, and other creatives. At the event, Tim Minard, CEO of Eclipse Gaming, was awarded Georgia’s Entertainment Entrepreneur of the Year.

SCAD Names Bob Weis Executive in Residence

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is pleased to announce that Bob Weis, global entertainment lead for Gensler and former president of Walt Disney Imagineering, has been named the university’s latest Executive in Residence.
