Theatergoers around the world lined up en masse to see Captain Marvel and propelled the Brie Larson led action extravaganza to a $455 million global debut.

The Warner Bros. remake of ‘The Witches,’ from director Robert Zemeckis, is currently eyeing to begin filming on April 29, in Georgia and Alabama. The United Kingdom will also be a shooting location. The setting of the film is Alabama during the year 1969.
Those grants would come after the project has wrapped and would require 60 percent of the production budget is spent in Florida and that 70 percent of the cast and crew are state residents.
Georgia Tourism, a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development(GDEcD), announced that it has awarded more than $64,000 in tourism product development grants to 14 new and expanding projects across the state.
States and cities across the country have begun to notice that their residents spend a lot of money on internet streaming services – and to pass laws that ensure that spending results in tax revenue.
First place on the US chart went once again to How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. DreamWorks and Universal’s third series entry made $30.4 million at home in its sophomore frame and reached a domestic cumulative of $97.6 million.
As with most filming projects, this means there will be road closures. Those are scheduled for March 11 through 13 while filming is taking place. The map above shows those closures.
One of the last film productions to benefit from the incentive was 20th Century Fox’s “Gone Girl,” which was filmed, in part, in Cape Girardeau. Kehoe said that area has seen the economic benefits of being the site of a major motion picture.
